Well blogging world, I have decided to start blogging again. I started one a couple years ago and failed miserably at keeping up with it, but I have a desire to write so I figured I would give it another shot. I love reading others blogs, hearing about other peoples lives, gaining encouragement through other peoples struggles or triumphs. I thought maybe it was my turn to return the favor and 2012 seemed a pretty good time to start.
Lately I have been thinking about making changes. I usually hate to do New Years resolutions. I mean, what's the point? You just end up feeling guilty when, by April, all you are left with is a long list of things you started but never finished. So I have been thinking the past couple weeks about life changes. Life changes aren't something that you do for a while and then eventually give up. It's a change made, a turn from your old habits. So, here are my "Life Changes" that I am aiming for in 2012.
*Financial - My goal for us is that by then end of 2012, follow our budget and have enough saved up to buy a house of our own
*Physical - This is a big one for me. I need to start a healthy eating habit and I am going to start running (would like to start doing 5ks so here we go!).
*Spiritual - Our goal is to find a church home where we both can worship and get involved and both feel it is a place we can call home.
Ok, so looking at those, they seem huge right? Looking at them all together it can be overwhelming! But if I take it one dollar at a time, one pound at a time (or one less chocolate chip cookie at a time), and one sunday morning at a time, I know 2012 will be a year to remember.
So here's to life changes! Here's to a great 2012.
